We have a fully equipped ski and snowboard servicing workshop.
Now Open for winter 223 -24

One of our qualified ski or snowboard service technicians is always on hand to carry out product checks  but it is always best email info@coyoti.com if your ski or snowboard service requirements are unique.

All servicing is based on a 2 week turnaround, if you require your items sooner then please speak to a memeber of the team, additional cost will be requires.

Our Premium Full Ski or Snowboard Service: Cost £40

Includes:

  • The base on your ski or snowboard will be planed to reduce any minor abrasions.
  • We then clean your ski or snowboard with a wax cleaner to remove any residual wax, this will help to optimism wax coverage later.. 
  • We will then re-structure the base this will again help to optimism wax coverage later.
  • The edges of your ski or snowboard are then sharpened at 89*,  other options are available, please specify when you book your item in.
  • De-Tune the tip and tail of your ski or snowboard.
  • The base of your ski or snowboard is then Hot Waxed and left to cool for 24hr.
  • Once cooled the base of your ski or snowboard is polished and structured.

Ski or Snowboard Wax and Edge Service: Cost £30

Includes:

  • We clean your ski or snowboard with a wax cleaner to remove any residual wax, this will help to optimism wax coverage later.. 
  • The edges of your ski or snowboard are then sharpened at 89*,  other options are available, please specify when you book your item in.
  • De-Tune the tip and tail of your ski or snowboard.
  • The base of your ski or snowboard is then Hot Waxed and left to cool for 24hr.

    How often should I get my skis or snowboard waxed?

    Regularly waxing your skis or snowboard has benefit, it’s an important part of your ski maintenance and extends the product life of your skis and improvers its performance and your control. Regular waxing prevents the base and edges from becoming dry, keeps your skis smooth, and stops your edges rusting.

     

    Think of the base of your ski or snowboard like the nap of a pool table all the minute fibres need to lay smooth and flat, the was also enables the base to repel water, otherwise they will become sticky and won’t glide freely on the snow

     

    It’s time to wax your skis when? 
    *there is fresh snowfall,
    *or the base starts to feel rough and look greyish,
    *or you have skied over rocks and stones, for instance during freeriding.

    If you are in any doubt then we would suggest you get them serviced
