Coyoti ski and snowboard has a fully equipped ski service and snowboard service department in our Cowbridge store, South Wales, Nr. Cardiff, CF71 7DF. Our ski service and snowboard service department is fully equipped to deal with any type of ski service or snowboard service job. One of our qualified ski service technicians or snowboard service technicians is always on hand to carry out product checks or repairs but it is always best to phone if you're ski service or snowboard service requirements are unique.
What can our ski service department or snowboard service department do for you?
A full ski service or snowboard service :-
* The base on your ski or snowboard will be planed to reduce any miner abrasions then cleaned with a wax cleaner to remove any residual wax, this will help to optimise wax coverage later.
* We will repair (minor base damage) normally 2 - 3 base repairs are covered, any further damage will be charged on a individual basis. We will then re-structure the base this will again help to optimise wax coverage later.
* The edges of your ski or snowboard are then sharpened at 90*, other options are available .
* The base of your ski or snowboard is then Hot Waxed and left to cool for 24hr.
* The base of your ski or snowboard is then polished and structured.
Where possible we prefer to keep your ski or snowboard for a period of two weeks, but if you require something sooner please call us on 01446 775778 to book your skis or snowboard in with one of our ski service or snowboard service technicians.
The cost for a ski service or snowboard service is usually
Full Ski Service £25, Full Snowboards Service £25, Full Snow Blades Service £25.
A ski wax and edge service or a Snowboard wax and edge service:-
* The base of your ski or snowboard will be cleaned during the service to remove any residual wax, this helps to optimise your coverage of wax.
* The edges of your ski or snowboard will be sharpened at 90* during the service, other angles are available on request.
* The base of your ski or snowboard will be hot waxed and left to cool for 24hr.
* Then we will clean, structure and polish the base of your ski or snowboard.
The cost for a ski wax and edge service or snowboard wax and edge service is usually
Skis wax and edge £15, Snowboards wax and edge £15, Snow Blades wax and edge £15
Ski Binding Mounting:-
For safety and compatibility reasons skis and ski bindings will not be mounted when purchased unless we are in possession of your ski boot. We will not mount any ski binding by a ski boot sole length measurement only. The ski binding DIN settings will be personalised to work safely for you, we will need your weight, height, ability and age to perform this.
This service is free on all skis or snowboards purchased in-store.
A charge of £30 for those purchased elsewhere. Most ski bindings or snowboard bindings can be mounted but this is always dependant on the equipment you have purchased. It is always best to bring your ski and ski bindings or snowboard and snowboard bindings in to our store in Cowbridge, South Wales, Cardiff, South Wales, CF71 7DF.

What if Your Ski Boots or Snowboard Boots don’t fit?
If you have problems with your ski boots or snowboard boots then bring them to us, our fully trained ski boot fitters and snowboard boot fitters have years of experience under their belts. In most cases we can normally improve the fit of your ski boots or snowboard boots for you!
There will be a charge of £25 plus the cost of any additional product used, if the ski boots or snowboard boots were not purchased from Coyoti ski shop, snowboard shop - Cowbridge, Nr Cardiff, South Wales, CF71 7DF.
