In terms of safety, snow board bindings are the most important part of your snowboard equipment. Snowboard bindings are designed to hold the boots (and you!) firmly onto the snowboard. However, they must provide the correct amount of leverage and responsiveness so that your movements are effectively translated into board movements. Although all snowboard bindings, in essence, have the same job to do, there are a variety of features available which allows them to do their job in slightly different ways.
